echo onda is the psychedelic indie outlet of Portland-based artist, jax leigh. jax's diverse range of musical influence translates to frequencies of grunge-pop soundbaths, hypnotic poly-percussive beats, and lyrical transmissions from quantum otherworlds. reminiscent of Kate Bush, Wye Oak, and Youth Lagoon, her idiosyncratic style resonates with tensions of paradox and songstories through circular time. she released her self-titled debut album echo onda in 2021, co-produced with sound engineer and bassist Rob Oberdorfer of Ages and Ages. her singles walls and beat goes have been featured on Shady Pines Radio and Portland Radio Project. echo onda's second full length album is set for release through summer 2025.
